British International operate flights to St. Mary's and Tresco throughout the year. The service, the longest running scheduled helicopter service in the world flies six days a week to the islands, Monday to Saturday inclusive.

The 20-minute flight in the comfort of the 30 seater Sikorsky S61 helicopter departs from Penzance heliport, taking in spectacular views of St Michael's Mount and the fishing port of Newlyn upon take-off.

The route then continues south westerly, crossing the far west peninsular and legendary places such as Mousehole, Lamorna Cove and Porthcurno.


Shortly after this the scenic headland of Lands End slips beneath you as you continue your journey and head out to sea towards the islands.

Upon arrival at St. Mary's airport you can can be transported along with your luggage to 'Eastbank' by mini bus or alternatively a taxi can be hired for the short journey to Porthloo.

Advanced booking on British International flights is essential and it would be wise to consider holiday insurance for any contingencies such as delayed departure due to inclement weather etc.
